Reviews

No fake star walls. Real reviews or none.

Rentavoq is new. Most software sites would hide that behind invented five-star quotes. This page shows you what’s illustrative, what’s proven, and how we’ll earn the rest.

Our promise on reviews

We’re new. Here’s the deal.

Rentavoq has zero published customer reviews today. Printing that sentence costs us bookings. Hiding it would cost us you — because you’ve been burned by polished promises before, and you can smell a fake star wall from the parking lot.

So here is the standing promise:

We will never print an invented review, star rating, or customer count.
Every example below stays labeled illustrative until a verified operator replaces it — name, fleet, and all.
When real reviews arrive, they run unedited. Including the ones that sting.

One rival in this category shows a money-back badge on its homepage while its own policy refuses refunds. Operators notice eventually. We’d rather be honest early.

In the meantime, the founder is customer zero — his own five cars run on Rentavoq every week. The cards below are written examples, in the voice of the operators the system is built for, showing the kind of result each part of the gate exists to produce.

Example testimonials

One for every doubt we hear most.

Eight illustrative reviews, each aimed at a specific objection. Every card stays marked until a verified operator takes its place.

Won’t verification scare off my renters?

I was sure the ID step would kill my bookings. First month: 23 rentals, one bail at verification. The 22 who passed took about two minutes each on their own phones — and the one who bailed is the reason I bought it.

I’ve been burned by software promises before.

After HyreCar shut down, I swore off rental software. I ran Rentavoq next to my spreadsheets for a month. The week it caught a screenshot insurance card my spreadsheet had already approved, I deleted the spreadsheet.

My fleet is too small for real software.

Three cars, nights and weekends. I figured real software was for real companies. Setup took one evening, and now my renters book on a site with my name on it. People at my day job think I run a franchise.

Deposits never actually hold when you need them.

On Turo I lost a $6,200 damage claim and got a coupon. In month four on Rentavoq, a renter brought a car back with a cracked bumper. The $500 hold was still live — release waits on inspection, not a timer — and the repair came out of it in six days.

Switching platforms is a nightmare.

Our old system wanted $1,100 in setup fees and billed us per branch. We moved 26 cars across two locations in one weekend, paid $0 to start, and the flat bill is the first invoice I haven’t had to audit in years.

Turo already handles all of this for me.

Turo’s cut on my seven cars was running about $2,900 a month. I kept the listings but sent repeat renters to my own Rentavoq site. Ninety days later, 60% of my bookings are direct — same cars, my rules, and the commission stays home.

Weekly gig leases don’t fit rental software.

I lease to Uber drivers by the week, and normal rental tools choke on that. Rentavoq runs the recurring billing and verifies each driver’s ID and insurance before every swap. A returned car turns around in a day now instead of three.

What happens when there IS damage?

A renter disputed a door ding, and my word used to be worth nothing. This time the checkout photos were timestamped and geotagged, the contract was e-signed, and the card company closed the chargeback in our favor in 11 days.

Customer zero is the founder

Rentavoq’s first fleet is the founder’s own — five cars in Indiana, running every booking through the same gate you’d get. Features ship to his cars before they ship to yours.

The gate is a mechanism, not a promise

Insurance, identity, contract, deposit, inspection — five checks, and the key release will not fire until every one passes. There is no staff override to sweet-talk.

Early operators

The first real review here could carry your name.

Early fleets get white-glove onboarding — the founder helps move your cars, your calendar, and your contracts himself. And when the gate earns you a story worth telling, you become a reference customer: one of the cards above retires, and your name takes its place.
